Project Title: "You Sure?" – PSA Video
Role: Lead Producer
Course: Media & Entertainment Capstone Project
Year: 2024
As Lead Producer for the one-minute PSA video "You Sure?", I oversaw every stage of production from pre-production planning through the final shoot. Working with two fellow students, I was responsible for all logistical and creative coordination to ensure the project ran smoothly and professionally.
I secured the filming location, handled all casting for both principal and background actors, and created essential production documents including the script breakdown, call sheets, and scheduling materials. Additionally, I managed catering and craft services to maintain a productive and comfortable environment for our crew and cast on set. During production, I facilitated filming operations, ensuring the team stayed efficient, organized, and on schedule.
This hands-on leadership resulted in significant recognition: "You Sure?" won first place in the DEA’s 2024 Red Ribbon Week PSA Competition. As part of this honor, my team and I were flown to Boston to attend the 2024 NAPSA Conference, where we presented on creating effective PSA content for college audiences. The win also awarded Kennesaw State University a $5,000 grant to support on-campus drug and alcohol abuse prevention initiatives.
Project Title: EarthLink Social Media Campaign
Role: Project Manager
Organization: American Marketing Association, University of Georgia Chapter
Year: 2025 (In Progress)
As Project Manager for a client team within the University of Georgia’s American Marketing Association, I lead a group of five students in partnership with our client, EarthLink. Our objective is to develop a comprehensive social media campaign that enhances EarthLink’s digital engagement and brand visibility with Millennial and Gen Z audiences.
In my role, I coordinate all communication between our team and EarthLink representatives, ensuring deadlines, expectations, and deliverables remain aligned. I facilitate meeting scheduling, manage timelines, and delegate responsibilities to each team member based on their strengths. I also oversee the creative and logistical development of our campaign materials, guiding the process from concept to execution.
By November 2025, our team will deliver a full package of 5–8 social media reels. Each reel will be fully conceptualized, scripted, edited, and packaged in-house. The final deliverables will include optimized posting instructions such as captions, hashtags, and ideal posting times to align with EarthLink’s brand identity and audience analytics. This project reflects my leadership in managing client relations, creative direction, and team collaboration in a real-world marketing environment.
Project Title: "Harvest" Short Film Marketing Campaign
Role: Project Manager
Organization: University of Georgia Thesis Film Project
Year: 2025–2026 (In Progress)
As Project Manager for the marketing campaign of the UGA Thesis short film "Harvest:", I am responsible for developing and overseeing the full promotional strategy for the project. Beginning in September 2025, I created a comprehensive marketing plan that defines the campaign’s goals, establishes our target audience and demographics, and outlines a cohesive strategy across multiple social media platforms.
My responsibilities include designing a preliminary brand kit for the film, developing content ideas tailored to audience engagement, and building a detailed timeline to guide all marketing activities leading up to production in Spring 2026. The campaign’s focus is to raise awareness, grow the film’s audience, and attract sponsors and donors through crowdfunding initiatives.
This proactive marketing approach ensures "Harvest" builds a strong community and visibility before its release, positioning the project for success both during its production phase and upon public debut.
